This page is totally dedicated to the dogs I have fostered for Doberman Rescue

They were mine for such a short period of their lives, but they each touched my heart in a very special way. When they left for their respective forever homes, they took a piece of my heart with them.

Both Gabe and Annie were rescued by Delaware Valley Doberman Pinscher Assistance Inc  www.dvdpa.org  DVDPA covers Eastern PA, NJ, and Delaware.

Annie Apple Head: Gone forever but not forgotten: Fall 2002

Annie was with us for 3 months in the fall of 2002. She was a plucky and spunky girl with the courage of a lion. Her adoptive family fell madly in love with her and she with them. Annie was the victim of extremely poor breeding and her health suffered. She died at the age of 3 after a couragous battle that could not be won.

Gabe after a week at the vet and a week at my home

Gabe was found chained and left for dead in NYC. At 7 months old, he weighed only 21 lbs, and would have died in another day.

Gabe with my girls: Feb. 2007

Gabe (the lucky dog) was adopted by a professional photographer. This photo was taken by his owner Lisa in the winter of 07'. Gabe is in the center with Louise on the left and Velma on the right. We spent all morning getting a shot of the 3 of them with ears up..... the one used of course was a shot with the ears in 3 different positions .... figures!
